KALA CAPITAL ACQUIRES SAKHYDROENERGOMSHENI
Company plans to address Georgia’s growing infrastructure needs 

Tbilisi, Georgia – January 18, 2008 -- Kala Capital today announced that is has acquired JSC “Sakhydroenergomsheni.”

Incorporated in 1936 to provide hydraulic structure and hydropower generation system constructions in Georgia, Sakhydroenergomsheni has built 22 large and medium size Hydro Power Plants with the total installed capacity more than 2500 MW (with 8.5 billion kwh annual generation).

In addition to constructing hydro and thermal power facilities, Sakhydroenergomsheni has built national highways, traffic tunnels, water supply and sewage facilities, industrial enterprises, etc.
